Boutique Marinette, St Martin du Vesubie

Den vackra och trevliga byn St Martin du Vesubie drygt 6 mil norr om Nice förtjänar ett eget blogginlägg, så småningom. I väntan på det berättar jag om en pärla i byn.

Om du besöker den lilla staden eller är i närheten, missa inte att titta in i en alldeles ovanligt bra klädbutik. Boutique Marinette i St Martin du Vesubie drivs av en god vän till mig och jag vill passa på att göra reklam för affären – inte för vänskaps skull utan för att den verkligen är värd ett besök för alla som är intresserade av vackra behagliga kläder.

Boutique Marinette ligger på det lilla torget mitt i byn. Den som händelsevis inte är intresserad av damkläder kan sätta sig på caféet mitt emot när vi andra utforskar frestelserna i den fina butiken.

Ägarinnan handplockar sitt sortiment med imponerande känsla för stil, smak och passform. Jag hittar alltid något jag vill ha, och överraskande nog också upptäcker att jag verkligen behöver. Utbudet förnyas ofta och känns både modernt och tidlöst. Kvinnor i alla åldrar och former kan hitta vackra kläder här. Dessutom finns ett litet urval av skor, väskor och väl utvald heminredning.

Det jag bland annat uppskattar hos butiken är god kvalitet till vettiga priser. Slit-och-släng kan vi ju annars hitta hos lågpriskedjorna och förmögenheter kan vi lätt (?) spendera i lyxbutikerna på Rivieran. De största varumärkena hos Boutique Marinette är Yaya, Line of Oslo, la Fee Maraboutée och Banana Moon. Det är kul att hitta kläder som inte finns i var och varannan affär hemma i likformiga Sverige.

The nice and beautiful village of St Martin du Vesubie some 6o km north of Nice will eventually have its own blog post, some day. For the time being, I point out one of the gems in the village.

If you visit the little town, or are nearby, do not miss the remarkably nice clothing store. Boutique Marinette in St Martin du Vesubie is owned and managed by a good friend of mine and I want to take the opportunity to tell you about the shop – not out of friendship but because it is really worth a visit for anyone interested in beautiful clothes.

Boutique Marinette is located in the small square in the middle of the village. Whoever is not passionate about women’s clothing can take a seat at the cafe nearby while the others are exploring the temptations in the nice shop.

The owner handpicks her assortment with an impressing feeling for style, taste and usefulness. I always find something I like, and surprisingly enough also realise that I really need. The selection is frequently renewed and is both modern and timeless. Women of all ages and shapes can find beautiful clothes here. In addition, there is a small selection of shoes, bags and well-chosen home furnishings.

What I appreciate with this shop is good quality at reasonable prices. Wear-and-tear we can otherwise find in the low-cost chains, and fortunes are easily (?) spent in the luxury shops on Côte d’Azur. The major brands in Boutique Marinette are Yaya, Line of Oslo, La Fee Maraboutée and Banana Moon. It’s nice to be able to buy beautiful clothes that are not found in each and every shop at home in Sweden.
