Ny bussoperatör, nya tidtabeller, nya priser – New Bus Operator, New Timetables, New Prices

Här händer det stora saker i sommarvärmen. Av en händelse fick jag höra att lokalbussarna här  i Menton nu körs av ett nytt bolag. Carfenbus har bytts ut mot Zest.

Major changes are made in Menton during the heat of summer. I just heard that our local buses now are operated by a new company. Carfenbus is replaced by Zest.

Tydligen har också tidtabeller, linjesträckningar och priser ändrats i viss utsträckning. Dessutom märkte jag att informationsexpeditionen vid Gare Routiere enbart hanterar Zests linjer. Om man vill ha information om, eller köpa biljett till, bussarna 100 (till Nice) eller 110 (flygbussen) finns ett separat kontor mitt emot tvärs över gatan västerut.

Obviously, also timetables, routes and prices are changed to some extent. Furthermore, I noticed that the info office at Gare Rouriere only handles Zest’s bus srvice. If you need information about, or want to buy tickets for, buses 100 (to Nice) or 110 (to the Airport) there is another office west across the street.

Ryktet säger att tidtabellerna möjligen är litet ”rörliga” nu i början efter Zests övertagande. Allmänhetens synpunkter är starka och Zest är kanske lyhörda. Det finns nya tabeller att hämta vid Gare Routiere (och på Turistbyrån, tror jag) men kanske är det säkrats att kolla senaste nytt på www.zestbus.fr.

The roumor has it that the timetables could be somewhat ”moving” now during Zest’s startup period. The public opinion is strong and Zest might be responsive. There are new timetables to pick up at Gare Routiere (and at the Tourist Office, I believe) but perhaps it is wise to check the latest news on www.zestbus.fr.

Priset har höjts. Nu kostar det 1,50€ att lösa biljett på bussen och 1,20€ att förköpa på biljettkontor.

The price is raised. It now costs 1.50€ to buy a ticket on the bus and 1.20€ to buy it in advance at a ticket office.

Information om bussarna 100 resp 110 finns som tidigare på www.lignesdazur.com och www.niceairportxpress.com. Såvitt jag förstår kostar nu enstaka resor med buss 100 också 1,50€ och enstaka resor med flygbussen 110 mellan Menton och Nice flygplats 20€.
